About Catherine

Catherine Wagner was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in August of 2009. For those next 7 years, Catherine fought continually, but never lost her hope, joy, love or laughter before passing away in July 2016.

Going through treatments, you want to live your life not missing a beat. Including going to children’s events, volunteering, errands, going for a run and just being yourself again. While life continues, medical bills continually come to your mailbox.

The true cost of Breast Cancer treatment varies, if like Catherine you have experienced a complete mastectomy, breast reconstruction, chemotherapy, radiation, years of cancer drugs, extra trips out of state, visits with specialists, your treatment costs are greater. Treatments can definitely have a financial impact on your lives.

Most patients luckily have loving communities, churches, friends, and family to help absorb portions of these expenses but there are some that don’t have access to such an extended family.
